NATO SG Rutte does not have to visit this US president that often. He can just write a letter stating that NATO always has been a defensive organisation. Alternatively he can ask some other heads of memberstates to convey that message to the US president.

@whasdah actually, I disagree. He should move there. Today he was defining Europe as " a platform to project US power", yesterday he was thanking Trump for bombing Iran and "making tje world a safer place". I think many will agree: we don't want him here. A true Margrette.

@timagal what I mean is that, if a SG of an International Organisation is facing too much controversy over his actions, he should stay away from the spotlight and let the political responsibles involved do the talking and negotiating.
