really missing a good service to host and categorize my photos in one place

okay so I've been trying @vernissage for a bit over a week now and it seems to be almost exactly what i needed + the fact that it's ActivityPub-federated is a nice cherry on top

However, lack of Android app or ability to create albums/collections of images is a bit of a bummer, but I can live without it. Overall the service is really decent for photography-first use and that's what matters

@rail Thanks a lot! Albums, groups, and similar features are definitely on the roadmap. Before that, though, I still need to focus on more important things, like abuse reporting across instances. I also hope someone builds an Android client eventually. Progress is slow since I’m building this mostly on my own after work and other responsibilities, but I’m really happy with how it’s turning out. 😉
