@qgustavor @jwz the people who say that in earnest are doing nothing more than telling on themselves as being the kind of person who would lie to you if they thought they could get away with it. and yeah, if someone lies about using slop machines, then what you've done is found someone who lies to you, and we don't associate with people who lie to us!

The CEO uses an LLM to send out an email, which the project manager then uses an LLM to summarize.

Likewise, I suspect the people using AI to generate pull requests expect you to merge it without reading it. It's not like they care enough about the feedback, they just feed it back into the AI.

How you gonna check? The LLM detectors are also utter shit at identifying LLM generated content.

Generative "art" screams scammy plastic look, so at least thats easy.
