Huzzah! Thank you @vernissage for recommending that folks make their hashtags accessible. 👏🏻

As many of you know, a few years back I campaigned for broader use of accessible hashtags:

It’s lovely to see someone stepping up on this. (Ideally it would recommend Pascal case, rather than camel. But I’ll take the win.)

@markwyner @vernissage Agree! Though isn't ThisFormat already Pascal case and thisFormat is camel case, and they've just misnamed it?

From memory, the clue is in the latter's name: the hump is in the middle.

I think it’s colloquial, not a matter of misnaming. PascalCase gets called camelCase because they’re so similar.

@markwyner @vernissage The default mastodon web client (at least in the two browsers I've tried) gives autocomplete choices for hashtags which are NOT CamelCased, making it necessary to both type the entire thing, and also type an additional space afterwards or it will still have the lowercase choice showing, and frequently replaces my carefully hand-crafted tag when I'm not realizing it. Bah.
