This somehow feels like Microsoft's plan with Bing. That is, even Microsoft is like "What if we did nothing to make our search engine better, and let Google make itself worse?".

...As far as I can tell, Bing doesn't embed Copilot directly in yet, so *somehow* this plot made Bing better than Google.
