@Our rain water tank has a bird's bath underneath the tap because it leaks. This issue has become an important feature. The constant slow dripping of the tap supplies the bird's bath with fresh water. As a result birds, mostly house sparrows, use it as their drinking spot. It is quite literally their water cooler / coffee corner & you can see them chatting, eating & gossiping around it. It's a lovely thing to observe & great to start the morning with.
