Whenever I go on a long #bike ride (30km+), my face is covered in fine dust. Even on asphalt.
Is it a bike thing or is it a sweat thing?

Let's find out.

Apparently there are people who get dusty from running even though less than half of them even run.

Maybe it was to indicate shorter runs, but who knows? No one matching the pattern commented.

Data collection is hard.

@dcz
In Middle Europe climate zone we have bee's and no dust :)
@dcz This only happens to me when applying sunscreen.
@dcz are you sure it's not salt from your sweat?
@mariusor Next up: taste test. I'll report after the trip back.
@dcz two things: 1. it’s not dust, it’s salt from dried sweat. Which applies for me even on easier drives after a while. As sweat is dried very quickly. 2. it‘s dust because of a dusty surrounding. Happens to me as well mostly in spring and summer. This does mostly apply for areas with more dust. This is the case in many areas and does not necessarily correlate with the type of road you are using. You will see it in the air when having sun at dusk and dawn.
