@0x00string @Loucovey @huntingdon During the weird glorious year that was 2008, when I was granted press credentials by The Huffington Post as part of a citizen journalism program, I was at the Democratic National Convention when Chuck Schumer ducked a question by a mainstream journalist, then called on me. I stood up and said, "Scott Bellows, The Huffington Post. That last question was a good one and you dodged it. Would you actually answer it, please?"
Ever see Chuck Schumer look down over his reading glasses and glower at someone? Yeah, that. The regular journalists looked shocked, happy, and jealous because I didn't need him to respond to me ever again, whereas they couldn't get away with it without consequences.
Still proud of this and want it in my obituary.
