@Slyence conservatives are in the process of learning that the USA's relationship to NATO countries is one of interdependence, not dependency.
Going to be interesting to see how they react to that. For all their insistence that Europe shouldn't "free ride" off of US defense guarantees, they also seem to desperately want a world where they are so weak they cannot resist US pressure.
If it turns out that dependency on the US was always a fantasy, what now, GOP?

The Free Press article that is linked here speaks of threatening Cardinal Christophe Pierre with a weapon. To threaten a Cardinal with a weapon and control of the Vatican by the US Military.
