If you are one of the many who think that Congress is starting to see the error of it's ways because of Trump, watch what's happening with the Senate and the confirmation of MarkWayne Mullin as head of DHS.

At his hearing, he gave vague answers to important questions and dodged specifics as to simple questions like "do you commit to obeying the Constitution"! He's another slimy Republican turd whose mother couldn't decide between Mark or Wayne as his first name!

If they confirm him, it will be clear that they have total loyalty to him ... STILL.

I'm an old retired fart. I grew up being told that Democracy was the superior form of government, beating all the rest! About 10 years ago I began to question that. I'm gong to relate a story that I've told before because it is what made me start considering that maybe Democracy isn't so hot!

One day in the fall of 2024, just before the election, I asked a neighbor lady (MAGA) why she was going to vote for Trump. She replied "Oh because he so handsome and rich"!

Elections are supposed to be where people vote for the most qualified candidates to lead our country, you know ... education, experience for the job, etc.
Instead they have become nothing more than popularity contests, games with winners and losers.

If Democracy is so damn good, look at this picture and tell me how we got to here from there ...

I have never liked Robert Reich but after seeing a couple of his posts, I looked at his profile and scrolled down.

The SOB is absolutely right on ... everything!

While Mozilla is trying so hard to be everything to everybody, people are searching for more security and privacy when surfing the internet. Over a year ago I decided to part ways with Mozilla and their their grasp on my browsing pleasure.

I started using Waterfox by Alex Kontos and Betterbird for email. Those 2 products are very similar to what Mozilla offers but I see no evidence of them interfering in my privacy. In fact, they promise to honor users security and privacy and NO AI !!
