I shouldn't be programming, but what if wiki, but simple? Markdown? Wikitext? NOPE -- what about a markup language where the output == the input? The output is a quine; you can copy and paste that HTML-formatted text and it's the same as the plaintext. Yes, even the links, which have a hidden part revealed on mouse-over that remains in the copied text. (No JS)

@Kroc basically, making every pixel convey information. not misusing of whitespace for whitespace's sake - nor washed out white on white, bordered by squircle with box shadow - but instead creating clear visual distinctions by contrast and pixel-thin boundaries.
