#curl

@bagder Rahul seems legit. I hope good things for them.
He doesn’t sound too offensive, quite nice actually.

@bagder

Gosh it's so rude to report issues on social media, but I used curl once to save an 'endless data stream' (from dump1090) in chunks to separate files. I used an argument that sets a timeout, but it would sometimes 'miss' the timestamp and keep going. I never came to reporting it properly but it always stuck.

@hnapel believe it or not, but we do fix bugs. "once" implies past time and we probably fixed it already.

@bagder

Thanks! I was thinking at the time a fix would be relatively easy to implement, just change a comparison to '>=' instead of '='. Sometimes all you can do is 'best effort' and it would be a deviation of milliseconds.

@bagder pure catnip, yeah?
@bagder This put a curl in my Q.
@bagder this is what "security first" development means, great job!
