It's going to be interesting times. Starting this Saturday and proceeding for over 3 weeks, my diet is going to be vegetable broth, and after a week, I can add vegan ice cream to the mix. It would be more varied if I weren't vegan, but that's ok. But I do expect to be perpetually hungry until past the restrictions. With any luck, the restricted diet will cause some weight reduction (at least temporarily).

I'm having a significant series of stomach surgeries on the 14th of April that should resolve my gastroparesis enough that I can return to a whole food plant based diet, as opposed to junky processed/ultra processed food I've been forced to consume for months now. The specific surgeries are a G-POEM, laparoscopic cardiomyotomy, and gastric stimulator, which I posted about on my previous instance a month or so back.

Fingers crossed the surgeries provide the help I am seeking!

@AncTreat5358 good luck for persisting with the boring (though not horrendous) diet and for the surgeries! Hope they do the trick 🀞🏻πŸ’ͺ🏻
@GinaT86 It’s interesting. The diet will go from bland, repetitive, and less filling to a healthy diet in a month or so, if all goes as hoped.
@AncTreat5358 it will feel so good to watch it progress! 😊 And I think there's some comfort in repetitive anyway, routine and stability can make life easier :)
@GinaT86 As an AuDhDer, I totally agree about routine and familiarity. 😁
