I live in a one way, across from a great bike lane.

Neighbour: "when there's an emergency vehicle blocking the way I drive onto the protected bike lane to be able to get home"

Me (appalled): "wait are you serious"

Neighbour: "yeah"

Me (appalled, children use that bike lane, among other people): "you shouldn't do that"

Neighbour: "fuck you"

@jectoons I wonder if you can put bollards up to keep cars out of the bike lane.

The city near me has a problem with vehicles loading and unloading in bike lanes because the bollards separating them from car lanes are 2-3 meters apart and are PVC pipe with a rubber base
