Michael Ormsby@rysiek @ApostateEnglishman @hacks4pancakes Interesting to compare August 1974 with today. I think Trump is substantially worse than Nixon. And the institutional safeguards were stronger then, namely the press was more capable and Congress fulfilled its oversight role.
