@chris Anyone not a USian that travels to the US has to be completely bonkers. Legal law abiding people are being shunted into crappy holding areas for no reason. I'm against our gov't wasting money and effort helping any of those people. If they're stupid enough to go there with this crap going on then they can deal with the consequences.

@Rick_d_card i could understand how some people might feel they have no choice. But there are surely many who are making the choice freely and just not considering the consequences might catch up with them.

@chris Yeah, I can't understand why there would be no choice except someone who had been living and working there for a while but, I admit I can't think of all scenarios. Even before all this trump business I had no pity at all for people who travel to authoritarian countries with no rule of law etc. and then cry and whine for the governments help when, surprise, surprise they end up in trouble.

When I see these articles, I wonder tif that huge American flag and Trump crap is still flying just South of the border from the Peace Arch on the way to Bellingham.

I wonder if they're still proud of what is happening or if they are hanging that thing upside down yet.
