Welcome to war crime day.

Trump has told the press yesterday that Iran will be returned to the stone age at 8 PM US Eastern Time — that is two hours after midnight in Berlin.

So far the European reaction is complete silence, and I believe this is a case of “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake”.

There are only two outcomes:

1. If Trump chickens out, he is weakened at home.

2. If he commits the war crime, he is severely weakened internationally.

Either way, Trump loses.

Logically, there's a third option but I don't think it's very likely:

He gives the "genocide" order, but the military refuses.

By saying that it's unlikely, I'm implying that it is a criminal gang.
