West Midlands' new railway stations open to the public

Moseley Village, Kings Heath and Pineapple Road stations opened to passengers on Tuesday morning.

does anyone know why it's called Pineapple Road? I know that was the name of the old station, but... how did it get that name? These days Moseley is more your artisanal goats cheese and Parma ham (the other two ingredients for a good pizza), but I'm pretty sure it's never been pineapple country, unless the constant rain only started in about 1920
