@TheBreadmonkey omg I just looked smarties up (because I couldn’t remember where they’re from) and here’s part of the description on wikipedia: "Smarties are oblate spheroids with a minor axis of about 5 mm (0.2 in) and a major axis of about 12 mm (0.5 in).”

Here in the US, Smarties are an entirely different confection. They're just flavored spheres of compressed sugar, basically.
