'Iran said today it will reopen the strait only if it gets a guarantee that it will not be attacked again, if Israel ends its strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the U.S. lifts all economic sanctions on Iran. Sounds as if Iran believes it has more bargaining power now than it did before Trump began his war.'

As if #Iran could believe or trust any of those guarantees by #US or #Israel. They are both utterly driven by ruthless greed to destroy and grab land/oil.

Americans have brought up on exceptionalism, guns, 'freedom', militarism, xenophobia and religious certainty for generations. It will take a social revolution before the rest of the world trusts America to behave reasonably.
