So I somehow spit my thumbnail parallel to my thumb. This is a horrible state of affairs as it catches on everything (painful) and can’t be clipped. So, to paraphrase Mark Watney, I scienced the fuck out of it and covered it with super glue. Perfect.
Also managed to not get any SG elsewhere, which is no small feat.
Lots of upcoming travel to NYC in next two months. First to see son in “As You Like It” at Studio A Paulson Center and then a month later for graduation from NYU.
It’ll be nice to be in East Village for about a week each trip.

Saw Project Hail Mary last night & quite enjoyed it. Read the book when it first came out (read all of Weir's books of course). Still debating on how I rank it and The Martian (the movies, not the books) - both full of science, both with AAA talent as leads, and both beautifully shot. Current thiinking is I might give Martian a slight edge but still not sure.
Also, I read that Gosling's kids tried to help nerd up his look.. They failed.
