even when the provocation is the claim that it doesn't work
it shouldn't work! we don't want it to work! we don't want to be part of a system for magnifying that kind of behavior!
we're well aware that even saying this is questionable. it's like the old joke: you're not stuck in traffic, you are traffic.
we just... hope that the way we frame it helps people see things more clearly, and we think that might be worth it in this particular case. we'll never get to know for sure.
