Today in #TheLongDark, I went out looking for a maple sapling so that I could eventually craft a travois to use for base supply consolidation. Instead, I ran into a wolf that surprised me as I turned a corner. I didn't get a chance to pull my rifle out fast enough and he was on me before I knew it. Luckily I got him off of me and caused some serious damage with my axe. I followed his trail for a bit until I found him lying in the snow, ready for harvesting.
