Today in #TheLongDark I explored the rest of the town near Thompson's crossing, which included a cool looking church. I also ventured out to the barn and brought its loot back to my community hall safehouse.
Nothing really notable in today's haul, a few bullets, random clothes and food.
I ran into a wolf on the way home and decided to give it a bit of a scare with my flare and a revolver shot, which hit its mark. The wolf ran off bleeding, I'll probably come across it later
Today in #TheLongDark I explored more of the town near Thompson's Crossing in Pleasant Valley, and setup shop in the community hall. I'm appreciating the ample storage and the six slot stove. I've also managed to find 3 pots and a pan, which will make cooking and melting/boiling water much easier!
Next time I plan on exploring the rest of the town and eventually heading over to the barn and farmhouse. I'll eventually have to decide where to make my safe house in the region.
Today on #TheLongDark I headed over to Pleasant Valley from Coastal Highway. On the way I ran into a wolf that had just taken down a deer, scared it away with a torch and my revolver, and claimed the carcass as my own. I stopped at a nearby watch tower to process the meat and drop off the skin/guts to cure. I also took the opportunity to rest for the night.
After I woke up, I headed through a mine, and walked to the closest town in PV, where I warmed up and started exploring.
Today in #TheLongDark, I finished cleaning up the Camp Office, read a few books that were there and made a few rosehip pies to use up some spare flour/oil that I had in the pantry.
I didn't realize that rose hip pies recover +15% fatigue instantly (while giving you a slight headache) and ate several. This left me with full energy in the evening, so I decided to make the trek back to Coastal Highway HQ in the dark. It was a bit spooky, but I managed to get back without incident.

the long dark – episode 5 eins der besten spiele die ich je gespielt habe. mir kam der schluss etwas leicht vor, episode 4 war schwieriger, dafür war episode kreativer in der umsetzung, ein sehr guter abschluss.
enshrouded – forging the path anfangs war ich mir nicht sicher ob ich das neue biom noch spielen möchte, aber dann war ich doch zu neugierig. jetzt kam noch “forging the path” oben drauf. neuer skilltree, special attacks, balancing und viele neue feinheiten. poi an multiplayer angepasst. aus ruinen wurden orte/städte und vieles mehr. zusätzlich bin ich noch in eine neue multiplayer-runde eingestiegen. das macht immernoch viel spaß und bietet zusätzlich nochmal die möglichkeit alle neuen materialien, orte und spielmechaniker kennenzulernen. Today on #TheLongDark I decided to head over to my safe house in Mystery Lake to check out what gear I had left there, and to see if it made sense to bring anything back to my "main" HQ in the Garage at Coastal Highway.
It was a longer journey than I remembered, and I had to cross a fairly narrow bridge. I also triggered the cougar getting spawned in Mystery Lake (I think its random)
Finally, I earned the snow walker badge, which should help recharge stamina faster.
Today in #TheLongDark I spent time crafting a bear skin bed roll and travois to prepare for further exploration. I think I'll head up to Pleasant Valley next!
Today in #TheLongDark, I decided to head back to my HQ in Coastal Highway and drop off some loot that I was able to gather in Desolation Point. I left before dawn since I was awake and was promptly attacked by a wolf that made a b-line to me. I was able to fend it off with out much damage.
As I was passing through the crumbling highway region, I was attacked by another wolf, and I wasn't able to get my gun out in time to shoot it. This time I took some damage, but survived :)
I finally did it! I lasted 100 days in my current #TheLongDark game and gained the centurion achievement! I was playing it safe for the last 5-10 days, now I can relax again and explore another region :)
