If you ever get sick of me banging on about my life and think 'ugh I wish she would stick to the porn' then please know: hardly anyone ever boosts the fucken porn.
@girlonthenet I try to boost the stuff I like, but unlike other content, I usually don't read porn as part of my fedi scroll. I read it when I'm having a wank, and maybe when I'm done I'll remember to go back to fedi to boost whatever put me onto that blog, but I think often I forget (cause my mind is still off somewhere else). But I'm also not gonna boost the link to a post I haven't read yet. So I can't boost it before reading it. That would be weird as well.

I also used to be a bit uncomfortable boosting smut on my main account, but I've mostly gotten over that. If I flirt with the sexbloggers, I should damn well stand to the porn I read, even if it's stuff future employers or my family could find. If they have a problem with that they can only try to turn it into my problem, and that seems worth being open about this art I like.

But the
just being too distracted to boost the stuff is really unfortunate. Seems kinda baked into the medium and the context in which it gets consumer unfortunately...
@girlonthenet I think the fix for me is going through my favourite accounts, and find the toots linking to smut I've read and enjoyed, just to boost them :).
