@mzar @tschaefer Heeeey this topic just came up this morning — so the IPv4-less FreeBSD build *is* still around?
I hadn't really heard much about it since it was originally announced, so I wasn't sure if it was a maintained thing or a one-time proof-of-concept that might have fallen too far out of sync with the current networking code.

FreeBSD is a very flexible operating system—you can build it without IPv4, without IPv6, or even (though I haven’t tested it) without both. It’s not just a proof of concept; it actually works as expected.
The most significant issue used to be that wpa_supplicant didn’t work without INET (IPv4) support, but that was fixed about a year ago.
