@paka Was all this war, destruction, and displacement from our homes for the sake of Gaza gas discovered off the coast of Nuseirat? Couldn't there have been more peaceful ways to obtain it instead of destroying us?

That gas field is called Gaza Marine.
According to the Wikipedia article, in 2023 (just before the war), Egypt, Israel and the Palestinian Authority reached an agreement for developing it.

So AFAIK, this has the blessing of the Palestinian Authority. It would be interesting to see if there's Hamas propaganda against it.

But I have not looked further into it and I'm not sure about latest developments.
