Gene editing appears to be helping folks who suffer from familial hypercholesterolemia, like me.
In the article, they talk about folks who have a worse version of it than I do. 😔 Mine is heterozygous for one thing, and I think only my PCSK9 is affected. The PCSK9 inhibitors do work for me. So I'm probably not a candidate for gene editing for now.
