@Natasha_Jay At first glance I thought the stairs were trompe l'oeil. It would be quite a good joke if the whole doorway was just a single door.
@Natasha_Jay gorgeous. whatโ€™s the downstairs half-door for? storage?

@Natasha_Jay
I understand photos a little bit at a time.

So first I saw the tiny door. Then I parsed more of the photo and the stairs came into focus and it was puzzling but maybe there's a second floor? Follow the stairs up, and there *is* a second floor but the door is huge? No. The second level door is normal sized, and the stairs go around a tiny door. And now there *is* a huge door? No. Normal door, fancy frame.

Thx for sharing!

I see both doors together, but the intricacy of the smaller door makes it just as "real" an entrance point.

Ofc I know enough to guess the small door is probably a chute down into a coal cellar, but it hints equally as an entrance for high ranking elves and faerie folk.

Visually it's interesting - and thought provoking - which is what I tend to seek in Art or Architecture I post.

Thank you
