A set of four London Underground posters from 1933 designed by Clifford Ellis and Rosemary Ellis. They created several wildlife-themed posters encouraging Londoners to travel out to parks, heaths, woods, and rivers using the Underground. #art #illustration

Underground - yep
General - is this what we call Overground now, IE not the tube but TfL
Trolleybus - not really now a few trams
Green Line?? I always thought of the District as that but not sure

Beautiful posters

Thnx ilmari. Thinking of the timings, my maternal grandfather, Michael Reardon, might have worked for them. He was a London (East End) bus conductor in the 1920s.
