A set of four London Underground posters from 1933 designed by Clifford Ellis and Rosemary Ellis. They created several wildlife-themed posters encouraging Londoners to travel out to parks, heaths, woods, and rivers using the Underground. #art #illustration
They also produced the cover for this Dartmoor classic.

@Rachelburch Gorgeous!
Looking for prints I found out this treasure trove. Search for Ellis if you only want to see theirs.

I love museum shops!

Vintage & retro London transport posters

Collection of transport inspired vintage and retro posters from London Transport Museum's collection.

@Rachelburch

Underground - yep
General - is this what we call Overground now, IE not the tube but TfL
Trolleybus - not really now a few trams
Green Line?? I always thought of the District as that but not sure

Beautiful posters

@MatthewNewell

I definitely remember the 'Green Line' bus being a thing when I was 18-ish in West London, in maybe 1977? One used to run down the Great West Road through Osterley.

@Rachelburch Love the old shepherd with his dog pointing the direction to the young couple.
@Rachelburch The alt text for the River and Down posters are incorrect. Would you like help with that?
