Let's start the week with a simple message from UN Women.

Stop telling women how to live their life!

The continued focus of the media on telling women what to do reflects a wide-spread sexism in global societies.... it won't be stoped abruptly, but behind much prejudice is this assumed male right.

So, my friends, if you find yourself telling a women how to live their life ask yourself: have I the right to be offering unasked-for 'guidance' or 'advice'?

@TommyChristensen @ChrisMayLA6 Maybe because, in the vast majority of cases in the vast majority of countries, women are told these things significantly more frequently than men. And often not just told, but forced: anti-abortion legislation; female genital mutilation; policing of clothing and life-style...?

Yes, I understand, and I didn't think that kind of treatment is okay, but that applies to all people - even animals for that matter.
I guess I just thought the message was a bit weak and without a clear address.. one could probably do better.. I think... UN is behind.. there are many talented people associated ..
