I finished this transport case for #whisky glasses, made from original #barrel staves.

I drew the plans and spent a lot of time flattening the bowed wood and aligning parts. The wood was barely enough. There was no margin.

The inside still has its original charring. The same surface that refined whisky over years now cradles the glasses that will hold it.

The lid has a pipette holder, because adding water to whisky requires precision. One drop opens it up. Too much and it loses its character.

It all started with a precise 3d scan of the glass, from there I drew the box and made it on a #CNC
