Proto Himbo EuropeanI know I've seen movies that are better than the books they are based on, and that most people would agree with that, but I can never seem to bring an example to mind.
Well: The Bourne Identity.
I quite like this movie and its two sequels. I also read the books (at least some of them) back in the 80s & 90s as a much younger person. I tried going back and reading the first book (by Eric Lustbader) after I was a grow-ass adult and... this movie is better than the book. So much better. Even if this movie sucked in various ways it would be better than the book.
