It could be bunnies!

This is the most complicated thing I’ve done so far. The places that I caught the floats are a little too obvious in places and the tension is a little off on some of the larger sections with one color, but it’s getting better! Too bad the worst part is at the top 😅

Making progress, I think I’m about 2/3 of the way through the colorwork

I finished the charted portion! The rest is just miles and miles of greige, and figuring out how to do sleeves.

I’ve just realized that the numbers of stitches for around the torso that the pattern gives absolutely do not add up, which I wouldn’t care except I’m supposed to decrease until I get to a certain number of stitches and I absolutely don’t trust that number now—do I go with the relative math and decrease 10 times, or double that to get to the stated number of stitches? Just gonna have to eyeball it I guess, which is daunting in my first knit sweater (and second sweater ever)
The pattern calls for 4 inches of ribbing, but I have 3 now and it seems more than sufficient? However, the sweater is still a couple of inches shorter than I would like, so I’m going to frog it back to the main body and make that longer before restarting the ribbing. It’s already 2 inches longer than the pattern called for, all the numbers in this pattern are weird. *sigh* #WIPWednesday
At least this gives me a chance to fix the ribbing, maybe? The first purl stitch in my 2x2 ribbing keeps coming out kind of stretched out, it’s not so bad from the front but it looks weird and wobbly from the back—not too much of a problem for a sweater, but I still want to figure out how to fix it. A search suggests I may have a difference in tension between the knit and purl stitches? I don’t know what to do about it though. #knitting

It’s finally long enough, time for sleeves. The rounds on the sleeves go so much faster!

Sleeve #1! The pattern was for short sleeves despite all the pictures being long sleeves, so I had to figure out how and when to decrease for long sleeves on my own, which is more of an adventure than I was expecting for my first knit sweater. It took a couple of tries but I think it works!

@haloedrain Bravo!!
