In the UK alone, every person, adult or child, subsidizes car drivers to the tune of £800/year, whether they themselves drive or not. That's the current cost of infrastructure and public services used by cars and their drivers.

Reads cheap until one thinks, suppose that was allocated to cycling infrastructure and public transport instead ...

@albertcardona Indeed. The lack of initiatives beneficial to humanity and progress is usually caused by the same old thing: money. And too many politicians are moldable by that.
