Darren Fower𝘈𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 to the 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (FDF), food inflation is likely to rise by "at least" 9% by the end of the year!
The 𝗙𝗗𝗙 had previously 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘵 that the rate of 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 would gradually ease in 2026, ending the year around 𝟯%. However, given the closure of the 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝘇, this 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘵 has now been tripled!
