Trump’s stupid, juvenile, expletive-ridden threat to blatantly commit even more war crimes (destroying civilian infrastructure) to me shows that Iran GOT HIM GOOD. The Hormuz Strait closure is hurting his political prospects, and there’s nothing he can do about it. He’s backed into a corner and begging for relief, and he’s yanking ever harder on the one and only lever the dimwit knows how to use (the one labelled “more bombs”).

I think the US has lost this war. Trump is now fighting entirely on Iran’s terms.

@drahardja Agreed. When the loud man used to getting his way doesn’t get his way, all he thinks to do is be more loud and hope that works.

The smartest thing he could do is back off attacks entirely and probably throw in some quiet offers of reparation.

It’s unfortunate that he could do that right now and end it immediately, but that he would then tell the media that Iran was begging to acquiesce to his every demand. And because they choose not to question anything, his cultist administration and devotees wouldn’t ever look to non-US (read: uncontrolled) media to learn what actually happened.
