I am pondering splitting my account into two: one that is more technical content and one that is more personal.

please respond to this poll about what you follow me for to help me decide if that is the right direction.

@ariadne Technical and experiential both, I don't think those separate cleanly
@delta_vee I guess I am just trying to figure out what I want to do with this space I've made for myself.

@ariadne @delta_vee
I want to see both as well. That goes for everyone I follow.

I prefer to meet the entire person if I can, not just their technical skills (or particular hobby or whatever they're here to post about).

@ariadne
The "both" option is missing…
@syn_rst @ariadne I think that’s the first one
@grumpybozo @ariadne
Or the last one, which would also be valid.
@ariadne I knew I don’t post much, but I follow for both. It’s obviously totally your choice to split content if you wish though!
@ariadne, well, I suppose that both is a perfectly fine option.
@ariadne I like to read both as well.
@ariadne I like it fuckin all.
@ariadne
I mean if you split them i'd follow both.

@ariadne I find it pretty challenging to have split accounts tbh.

You inevitably will read stuff in account B that are account A topics and things get quite awkward.

@juliank @ariadne Same exprience here, even though Subway Tooter makes it quite easy to work with multiple accounts. There will always be an overlap in follower relations on the accounts, and decisions over whom to follow from where and who to answer with to what - at least for me, it was way too much effort. I tried to cut by language instead of topic, though.
@ariadne I follow you for both. I'm surprised "both equally" is not an option in the poll.
@ariadne I like both kind of posts, so idk, do as you wish ^^
@ariadne voted other because I follow you for whatever it is you have to say, no matter whether it’s technical, experiential, or something else entirely
@ariadne I initially followed you because you were the admin here and I felt that would be useful, I stayed because everything you post is interesting and worth reading.
@ariadne I definitely followed you for the tech contents despite the experiential posts, but tbh I think I would miss them now! So if you split I might follow both accounts anyway 🙂
@ariadne I follow you for both reasons!
@ariadne oh, poll has already ended. I follow for the insights on that instance management ; the deep tech knowledge ; and the whole you, whatever the topic.
