So I found my old Game Boy Advance and my games for it. I put one game in and turned it on and it worked. So then I turned it off because I wanted to test the other cartridges but now it won't turn on anymore... The power light flickers when I move the switch from on to off, but not the other way around. Did I damage the on and off switch or something? Is there a way to fix this? I put new batteries in it, so that isn't the problem...

@lalah did you check if its the game perhaps? ive heard before that the batteries in there can also run out and break the game.. :/

this makes me hope my gameboy and its games still work fine 🫣

@artbyeliza it's turning on every 3 or 5 tries now, I think the power switch inside is dirty.
@lalah im sure thats fixable somehow!! i hope you get it to work properly 🫡
@lalah if you take the shell off and put a little isopropyl alcohol in the switch, it should fix it

@lalah any corrosion or weirdness on the battery coils or anything?
@f0rrest no, they look okay, I think the power switch is dirty inside. it turns on like every third attempt now
