@osma @aral liable for military service means that your conscription training is about to start or during training.

Finland has a mandatory conscription system for all male citizens, with options for voluntary service for women, aimed at maintaining national defense readiness.

You can easily see why we don't have an additional process for half of the population.

@osma @aral it says of the fighting age. I'd assume that means if you are in the service age bracket.

Remember Germany is practicing a return to a compulsory service / conscription army. They haven't done mandatory training for what, 15 years now, and only men before that.
