If I say, "Black people in tech face racism." you can tell people I said that.

But if you use that to write an article saying "Some tech leaders' strategy: only hire white men.🤡 The conversation spilled into the open when Mekka said that Black people in tech face racism."

We will have a problem.

The article framing is trash because it tries to use Michelle Obama and Jim Clyburn's Black faces to launder the super racist idea that we should strategize against the Black woman that is leading in all the Dem polls because she is not a white man.

They did not say that. That is not their strategy.

IRCv3 at this rate is genuinely shaping up to be an amazing way to move away from Discord for text-based chat

their specs cover things like:
- Multiline
- Chat history
- Replies
- Emoji Reactions
- Network Icons (an SVG icon or similar that a network can set, like an avatar)
- Typing indicators
- Arbitrary account metadata
- This data can be subscribed to, so a client could display i.e a "pronouns" field for users or "website" field for channels
- Message redaction

WIP but still noteworthy:

- Message editing
- Custom Emoji

The rationale for Hegseth's war is based on lies. He casts his maximally brutal killing as an inherent good. His war has killed nearly 1,500 civilians, including many children. He lionizes the killing of enemies who surrender.

This person clearly is on a power trip and is not stable enough for a government position.
