So many of my photos have a single seagull in them that I'm starting to wonder if it's the same seagull, stalking me around the world.
Seriously
A faithful companion, my seagull. Following me around even at sunrise.
I was joking about the same seagull following me everywhere, but now that I skim some random photos, maybe I'm not
I wonder if other animals enjoy a nice view, the way humans do
@CiaraNi I think this is an almost mature lesser black backed gull / Baltic gull. The black on its bill will turn red, and its eye will become yellow when mature.
@jgrg Don't tell it I said this, but it's a handsome bird
@CiaraNi It is. I wanted to identify it because it looks different to anything I've seen in the UK. Its dark eye makes it look a little more kind.
@jgrg I hadn't thought of the difference between them in different territories. Interesting. "Its dark eye makes it look a little more kind." That's a lovely observation. Agreed - the yellow eyes make gulls seem more 'malevolent'. When they're attacking you, especially.
