This is a crap article with crap reasons for not having a printer.

Also since you DO need a reliable printer, get a Brother inkjet. Works on Linux, allows 3rd party printer cartridges, seamless WiFi even for phones, just keeps on ticking.

@scottwilson If you don't print often enough, get a Brother laser.

But yeah, outside of some shortcomings and some attempts at DRM, they've practically won by doing mostly nothing and being the least assholish about everything.
