it gets soldered in a big oven.
first step: solderpaste gets squished through a metal soldermask onto the pcb
then a robot places the components onto the pcb and finally the whole thing is driven through a 10m long oven that has different temperature zones.
to solder something like that at home you put the solder paste onto the pcb with a syringe and use a hotplate to solder the pcb
I was thinking about wave soldering, but that wouldn't work 🤦♂️
It would be the same process as described with solder paste through a mask and then a tunnel oven to heat the solder. Basically automated with pick and place machines and optical inspection.
The same process is used to assemble graphics cards on a production line especially the main die 🙂
