PSA: don't put oil on a #pizza stone. If you do, don't be the asshole that donates it to a #thrift store so that someone else fills their home with smoke and sets off alarms.
So, uh... anybody know how to resuscitate an oily pizza stone? Put it in a grill outside and hope it cooks off?
@aatoskoivulainen never done it, but maybe a baking soda/water paste? you'd need to let that air dry completely before reheating. maybe dry it in a low oven too before going to pizza temps.
