This vintage pattern was again found in a charity shop. The lobster print halter top and matching shorts were made from thrifted cotton fabric.

I have never made a half elastic waist band so it was nice to "practice" on something small.

I am still challenging myself to use up some of my fabric stash. So in the last 48 hrs I have made 2 little outfits. This time for a friend who has a 1 yr old granddaughter.

The vintage dress pattern was found at a charity shop. The dress was made using old tablecloths, again, and also used some thrifted buttons.

Totally slipped my consciousness that it was #MeMadeMay.

I was at it again last night.
Easy pr of shorts.
I recently thrifted a vintage pj's pattern (had been searching for this style for ages). No pockets and the waistband tie is a 63" white shoelace.
The lightweight chambray was end of bolt at fabric store. Instead of properly hemming, I used the whipped selvage edge as the "hem". Kind of like the frayed but not frayed look.
