Current status of the New Year’s Day planted potato experiment. As feared, we barely had a frost last winter. These are Casablanca first earlies and will be either harvested or moved out before the tomatoes and cucumbers are planted in this greenhouse bed in a month or so’s time. #Gardening #GrowYourOwn #HomeGrown
@Broadfork potatoes in spring!

@carolannie Yay! But NOoo! at the same time.

This shouldn’t be anywhere near possible from winter growing in an unheated greenhouse with no fleece covers.

Oh well, just stretching the envelope to see what’s possible in the new ‘normal’ climate.

@Broadfork well, there is that. Observant gardeners will help us, survive climate change
@carolannie Maybe. I do hope so but I am not hopeful. People need to start listening to actual expertise pretty quickly and ignore the growing mountain of AI slop.
