Bought my new laptop this january (just before prices have gone to hell) a brand new Thinkpad E16 Gen 2 with an AMD powerful APU (a R7 7735HS) and 32 Gb RAM plus a 1Tb SSD. Bought it without any Windows (price done 250€) and installed Linux Mint tight away.
Everything was recognized instantly, even my Brother MFC2710DN. And, yes, thanks to the Radeon 680M included in the APU, I can play with Skyrim LE or Fallout New Vegas.
Cherry on the cake : 7+ hours on the 57wh battery (not in game thought). Can't wait to buy new SSDs for my gaming rig.
