I love McFadden. She always shows the underside of men and women of a certain type. You completely support her anti-heroes doing the most unthinkable things. Debbie protects her family,and herself, and that seems almost charming. McFadden's books always have twists, I did not see this one coming, so that says a lot. #goodreads
